Beth Aaron School Begins New Term Berriard Panush, director of the Beth Aaron Religious School, announces the beginning of the new term on Sunday. Educational co-chairmen, Drs. Marvin Last and A. Cohen, will process new registrations from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at MacDowell School, where all classes are conducted. The school this year will in- troduce a more intensive study of Jewish and Israeli songs, both in classrooms and in a chorus, which is to be formed under the guidance of Cantor Judah Gold- ring. Hebrew study is mandatory for seventh and eighth grade pupils, with .these classes joint- ly sponsored by the school and the United Hebrew Schools. Other courses include Bible, his- tory, religion,- customs, music, Zionism, current events and modern Israel. . First patient to be admitted for treatment at Sinai Hospital of Detroit was Joseph B. Gendloff, of 3212 Pingree, who climaxed 38 years of effort in behalf of a, Jewish -hospital in Detroit by win- ning this distinction.
