versity of Chicago, will appear
as the opening speaker in the
annual series of "Leo M. Frank-
lin Lectures in Human Rela-
tions" at Wayne. University,
Thursday.
The lecture, open to the pub-
lic without charge, will be held
at 8 p.m. in the large auditorium
of the Detroit Institute of Arts.
Dr. Wright will discuss "Ameri-
can Foreign Policy and the Con-
cept of International Law."
Both the lecture series and
the memorial professorship
now held by Dr. Alfred H.
Kelly, professor of history at
Wayne, were established at
the university in 1949 by the
board of trustees of Temple
Beth El in honor of Dr. Leo
M. Franklin, who died in 1948-
after 43 years as rabbi of the
Temple.
