Musical Puppet Show
Awaits Center Juniors
Junior members of the Jewish
Community Center are invited
to attend the puppet show, "The
Snow Queen," to be presented by
.Gary Jennings and his puppets,
at 1 p.m., Dec. 26, at the Davison
Branch.
Dramatized in fOur acts, the
story is highlighted by music
f r o m Stravinsky, Tchaikowsky
and Grieg. Jennings designed
and executed the complete pro-
duction, including puppets, cos-
tumes, sets, stage and lighting.
Having studied at Wayne Uni-
versity he played for several
years with professional puppet
and marionette shows. Jennings
then organized his own troupe.
There is no admission charge
for the show.
Tenants' Groups Merge
At a meeting held jointly by
OFER (Organization for Fade-
and Equitable Rents) and Ten-
ants Council, it was decided to
merge both groups for more ef-
fective action in combating ex-
cessive rent raises.
The OFER name and officers,
