On the eve of "BIG Day"

scriptions in a house-to-house
canvass, Grand Marshal Sidney

tain a network Of 110 institu-
tions for women and children in
the new state.

tions benefited are day, nurser-
ies, full 'time children's homes,
reception centers, rehabilitation
centers and homes for immi-
grant women, agricultural•train-
ing farms for youth, vocational
and trade schools, recreation
facilities, classes in cooking, hy-
giene and child care for immi-
grant 'women.
