The only opposition to the measure came from the 16 deputies representing the neo- Nazi Independent Voters League. Eligible for indemnification is any one imprisoned. between March 6, 1933, and May 9, 1945, on account of their politics, na- tional origin, race or religion. Total compensation must be paid by Sept. 1, 1956, and may be spread out in installments of approximately $100 a month or more, depending on the total clue.
