In Combatting Prejudice
A team work in industry pro-
gram was started this week at
Shwayder Brothers Inc. and will
be conducte for a period of 10
weeks. Its purpose is to improve
human relations within the
plant and community, with em-
phasis on eliminating racial and
religious tensions in the factory.
The program is sponsored by
Shwayder Brothers and Local
No. 96, International Fur and
Leather Workers Union. King
Shwayder and T. E. Morgan,
vice-president and plant man-
ager, respectively, are represen-
tatives of management, while
representatives of the union in-
clude Harold Shapero, chief
stewart H. A. Martin, and p•esi-
dent Otis Wade.
