Mrs. Henry P. Onrich, fund-
raising chairman of the Greater
Detroit Bnai Brith Women's
Council, announces that half of
the $100,000.quota has been ful-
filled,
The remainder of the funds
are sought by Nov. 18 when the
women will hold their annual

Temple.
Funds received go for a variety
of projects, the latest being a
national drive for 300,000 diapers
to be sent to babies in Israel
where there is a desperate need
for such items.
Over 6,000 members, represent-
ing 18 Detroit chapters, are
engaged in the fund- raising
drive, which will provide funds
for the Children's Home for
Maladjusted Children in Israel,
Leo M. Levi Hospital and numer-
ous other philanthropies.
The Israel Children's Home
was established by Bnai Brith.

Bringing new people into the community picture is a continu-
ing task and (left to right) Mrs. LOUIS G. REDSTONE, chairman
of the Jewish Welfare Federation Women's Division prospects
committee, with Mrs. SIDNEY J. KARBEL, division vice-president,
and Mrs. JOHN C. HOPP, division president, here checks data on
