In the fourth month since be-
ginning its program for aging
Jews, the Jewish Social Service
Bureau has shown progress in .
the care of aging members of
the community.
One of the primary aspects of
the program is the placement of
aging Jews in boarding homes..
These homes are found by the
agency, and are used when the
persons involved can take care -
of themselves, physically and
financially.
Mrs. Lena Eisler, special work- -
er in the Department of Services
to the Aging, reports that five
boarding homes are now in use.
She also states that many more
such homes are needed, as the
group attempts to place the in-
