campaigners--will hold a. series
of three _report meetings, at
12:30 p.m. luncheons, Friday,
October 17, 24 and 31, at the
Fred M. Butzel Bldg., according
to Milton K. Mahler, president
of the Detroit Service group.

and professional divisions of the
service group have .held inten-
sive assignment sessions, with
the final one scheduled for the
real estate and building division,
at 12:15 p.m., today, at the Fred
M. Butzel Memorial Hpidg. Man-

the cash effort for this division.

Thanks to Local Efforts

Mrs, Jerome Blum, president
of the Music Study Club, an-
nounces a large gift of records
from the private musical library
of J. Dorsey Callaghan, Detroit
Free Press music critic.
The gift has been ear-marked
for the "music for Israel" project
of the club. Last year, the Music
Study Club sent a collection of
long playing records to YMHA
and YWHA clubs in Jerusalem.
= A special donation was also
sent this summer to the YWHA
in Jerusalem. While in Vienna,
Mrs. Julius Chajes sent an ac-
cordian in behalf of the club.
The project this year will be
headed by Mrs. Bernard Lachs.
