Of Jews on Holy Day

Vandals slashed the awnings
of several business establish-
ments on Dexter Blvd. during
Yom Kippur.
Detective Sgt. Thurmond Mc-
Kinney, Petoskey Station, re-
ported that complaints of de-
stroyed property have been re-
ceived from the following stores:
Empire Galleries. Small Fry
Fashions, Metro Music Shop,
Vivien's Ladies Shop, Barton's
Chocolates, Lachar's Catering,
Jacqueline's Ladies Wear, Iry
Grumet Men's Wear, Club Ex-
change Gift Shop.

Although property in the area
has been destroyed on other re-
ligious holidays, police state that
a similar incident has not oc-

the last two years.
