The Post Office has announced
that Hanukah parcels destined
for delivery to Armed Forces
personnel in the Pacific should
be mailed by Nov. 1. Packages
for Navy and Marine Corps per-
sonnel serving in more remote
areas should be sent by Oct. 15.
Air parcel post parcels can be
mailed until Nov. 25.
Regular parcel post packages
are limited to 70 pounds and 103
inches in length and girth com-
bined. Air Mail is limited to 2
pounds in weight and 30 inches.
A limit of 50 pounds is set for
APO's 22, 120, 124, 125, 125-B, 147,
179, 190-194 and 755 c/o Post-
master, New York.
Perishable or fragile commodi-
ties and inflammable materials
should not be sent. Cigarettes
and tobacco products as well as
coffee may not be sent to certain
APO numbers, which are avail-
able from the Post Office.
Greeting cards sent first Blass
should be sent by Nov. 15, or air
mail before Dec. 1 to insure'holi-
day delivery. Parcels properly
prepared may be registered and
insured.
The use of money orders in
place of currency is urged, and
the sending of currency to over-
seas military • posts where the
dollar is not the accepted medi-
