Plan January Wedding

Mrs. Leon Bader, national chairman of guardianship for Wo-
men's American ORT, will be in Detroit today. She will be feted
at a brunch given by Mrs. Ben Jacob, regional ORT president, at
her home on Mark Twain Ave. All regional board members will
attend.
Miss Ruth Hershman, of New York City, is the guest here for
the 'holidays . of her parents, Dr. and Mrs. A. M. Hershman of
Calvert" Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Weitzman have left for an extended
todr of the Southern states and Miami, Fla.
Mrs. Anna Goldberg, of Elmhurst Ave., has left for Los Angeles,
Calif., where she will spend the winter months with relatives
.At a tea given by Mrs. Maurice Verniek, of London .Ave., in
honor of bride-elect Lois Levin recently; those pouring included
Mrs. • Sanford Levin, and Misses Gertrude, Harriet and Joanne
Applebaum and Rochelle Greenberg. The affair was held at the

Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Gurwin and daughter are now residing
