Miss Vida Biegelman, daughter of Mir. and Mrs. Arthur Biegel-
man, of Pennington Dr., has left for Russell Sage College in Troy,
N.Y., where she will begin her sophomore year.
Mr. and Mrs. William Gottlieb and daughter, Frances, have
returned from a vacation to Cedar Point.
Jack Stiglitz, of 18024 Northlawn, has returned home from a
visit with his sister, Mrs. Dora S. Wechsler and family, of Pitts-
burgh, Pa.
Miss Belle Moscowitz, of Sturtevant Ave., has returned from a
trip which took her from coast to coaost. While in California to
attend the Lambda Kappa Sigma pharmaceutical convention at
Hollywood's Roosevelt Hotel as a representative of Wayne Univer-
sity, she visited her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Brown, formerly of Detroit. In the East, she was the guest at
Swan Lake, N. Y., of her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
Julius Moskowitz, formerly of Detroit, now of Presque Isle, Me.
She also attended the centennial convention pf the American
Pharmaceutical Association in Philadelphia as a delegate = of the
Michigan Society of Hospital Pharmacists.
Simpson Rosenberg of Miami Beach, a former Detroiter, who
now is serving as president of the Detroit Social Club of Greater
Miami, is the guest here over the holidays of his brother, Louis
James Rosenberg.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Edelstein, of 2918 Glynn, celebrated the
Bar Mitzvah of their son, Norman Daniel, with a reception Sept. 7,
at Lachar's. Out of towners were the boy's aunts, Mrs. Celia Aron-
son, of Union City, N. J.; and -Mrs. Fannie Katz, of Brooklyn, N..Y;
an aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. M. Drazin and son, of Peoria,
Ill.; and -cousins, Mr. and Mrs. M. Dublinsky, of Chicago Heights.

The new Mrs. Havis was at-
tended by the bridegroom's sis-
ter, Sonia Ribiat, as matron af
honor. and by Gertrude Lax,
Beverly Danto, her cousin, and
Ruth Danto. her sistei•-in-law,
as bridesmaids,
The bridegroom, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Benjamin Havis, of
Elmhurst Ave., was attended by
his cousin, Morton Weinger, as
best man. Ushers were Avery
Davis, Murray Greenblatt and
Charles Danto, the bride's bro-
ther.
Following a dinner and re-
ception, the young couple left on
a honeymoon trip to Miami
Beach. They are now residing
