Activities will get under way, with Evelyn Rogoff in the top post as president of the Coun- cil. Her very able assistants are Rick Grauer, veep; Jim Weitz- man, secretary; and Dick Edgar, treasurer. The membefship includes Bar- bara Levin, Dick Edgar, Evelyn Rogoff and Rick' Grauer, from the 12th grade; Nancy Blanke, Henry Moses, Ann Neufeld and Jim Weitzman, from the 11th grade; and Lois Elbinger, Edith Nolish, Jim Lewis and Joel Dreyer, from the 10th grade. A new youth group will be a feature of the new season at Temple Beth El, which has be- gun under the aUspices of Rabbi Minard Klein. The group is a chapter of the National Federation of Temple Youth (NFTY), and is an en- tirely separate body from the high school department. It is open to anyone from 15 to 18, with the stipulation that mem- bers are confirmands of Temple Beth El or regularly attend high school classes. • Next meeting of the NFTY chapter will be at 8 p.m., Wed- nesday, in the temple youth room, at which officers will be / elected. Those interested in so- cial and cultural activities are welcome. The first major un- dertaking, already being plan- ned, is the November youth conclave, which the group win host at Temple Beth El. Instead, students are required to attend special synagogue services for youths. Services will be conducted for children 7 to 12, and another for those 12 to 17.
