• LUXEMBURG, (Sept. 10)—The Federal German Re-
public today signed the restitution indemnification agree-
ment with the State of Israel and the Conference of Jewish
Material Claims Against Germany (CJMCAG).
Under the agreement Germany will pay $822,000,000
in reparations over a period of 12 years.

during which not a single word was exchanged between the
German, Israeli and Jewish participants.
