I Mr. and Mrs. Harry Raskin,

Participating in programs this summer at the National Music
Camp at Interlochen are several young people from the com-
munity. Included are David Gelfand, Jill Sheridon and her brother,
Barrie Michael, Jan Zlatkin, Robert Jacobs, Sharalyn Lambert,
Martin Dann and Walter Mison.
Mr. and Mrs. William Hordes and Mrs. Isidore Singer acco
panied their children and granddaughter. Mr. and Mrs. Herbe
Hordes (Nesia Singer) and Naomi, to New York, prior to the la
ter's sailing for Israel. The Herbert Hordes' left for France b
plane. After a week's stay in Paris, they will go to Rome for
two-day stay and from there will fly to Lydda. Israel. Mr. Horde
will be associated with the Israel Health Department in an engi-
neering capacity, in work now being undertaken for water puri-
fication.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur J. Hass and their sons, William and
Daniel, have moved into their new home at 1350 Strathcona Drive.
Miss Carol Rosenman, of Greenlawn Ave., home for the sum-
mer from the University of Michigan, has as house guests for
the weekend Robert Keiser and Ronald Rubenstein, of Cleveland
Heights, 0.
Miss Fayanne Sike. of Dexter Blvd.. is spending the summer
in Long Beach. Calif., as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Roska
and daughter. Laurel Beth.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry H. Rose, of Martindale Ave.. are vaca-
tioning in Las Vegas, Nev., and Long Beach. Calif.
Dorothy J. Stein. who now makes her home in Miami. Fla.,
flew here for a ten-day visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack
Becker, of 3826 Clements.
Mr. and Mrs. Leon S. Schembeck have returned to their home
on Monte Vista Ave., following a three-week trip to Yellowstone
National Park and Glazier, Wyoming. Their daughter, Mrs. Maurice
S. Schiller. and son, Larry, are currently visiting the Schembecks.
Dr. and Mrs. Max Warren, of LaSalle boulevard, recently left
on the Duch line Noordam for a two-month visit of European
countries. hey will attend the Saltzburg and Edinborough festi-
vals. 1
Byron Krieger, Detroit representative to the Olympic Games
at Helsinki, will compete with the U.S. foil team against 69 nations
on July 211 and 22. He will tour Paris. France and other points
before returning home.
Dr. and Mrs. Elliot Luby recently visited their parents, the
H. Levensons and the A Lubys, following Dr. Luby's discharge
from military service. The couple is now living in Connecticut
while Dr. Luby takes his residency at Yale University.
After visiting their children in Falls Church, Va., Mr. and
Mrs. Marcus Ronis continued their vacation through the South.
Mrs. S. K. Gage has returned to her home here following a
lengthy visit in Boston, Cape Cod and environs. While in Boston
she attended the graduation of her niece, Nell Segal, of Clevland,
from Simmons College, and also attended Festival of the Arts at
Brandeis University.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman K. Cohen: of Glendale Ave., are visiting
at Atlantic City. N. J. for several weeks. Before returning home
they will visit their daughter, Myra, who is a camper at Camp
Ramah. Lake Como, Pa.
