The newest lodge of the na-
tional organization, United
Order of True Sisters, has been
instituted here, with Mrs. Harry
Wohl as its first president. The
new group was chartered under
the title Detroit Lodge, No. 41.
Witnessing the installation at
the Belcrest were Mrs. Louis Mi-
chaels, national president, Mrs.
Jacob Lehrfeld, grand monitor,
both of New York, and members
of the lodge expansion commit-
. tee. headed by Mrs. Max Biesen-
thal, of Chicago.
Inducted into office with Mrs.
Wohl were Mesdames Walter
Glazer and Robert Childs. vice-
presidents; Roy Kaplan, Jules
Kondritzer, Samuel Buckland.
secretaries; M. Mock, treasurer:
, A. Friedman, mentor. and Allen
Coleman, warden and guardian.
True Sisters,. a social and phil-
anthropic organization, was
founded in 1846. Its 41 lodges
with a total membership of 12.-
000 extend from coast to coast.
The National Cancer Service,
founded in 1947 by the organ-
ization, maintains loan and gift
closets for home care of post-
hospital cancer patients.

TWO AND A HALF year-old
Naomi Klein, young daughter of
Walter and Esther Klein, suc-
ceeded in frustrating the police
of the Petoskey Precinct as well
producing an anxious hour for
her parents ... Wandering away
from home, she was picked up
by a scout car When she was
returned to her home, the story
came out that when the officers
asked Naomi her name. the little
lady „very definitely answered
"Alice" . . . "Alice what." the
police inquired . . "Alice in
Wonderland" was Naorni's firm
answer . . . So impressed by
Naornis insistence, the officer
making out the report couldn't
help filling in the name of Alice
... even after the event ... and
after Naomi was claimed by and
returned to her parents.
