Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Wolok (Shirlee Shlain) have returned
from their honeymoon in Israel and in European countries. They
spent five weeks in Israel and visited in Greece, Italy, Switzerland.
France and Portugal. They were accompanied by Mr. Wolok's

ated from Detroit College of Law last month.
Mrs. Benjamin Glaser, of Rehovoth, Israel. is visiting here
with her brother, Mr. Hugo Biegel, of 18481 Washburn. They
have not seen each other for 24 years.
Detroit Chapter of Hadassah was among the participating
organizations at the annual meeting of the Women's Division
of the Israel bond drive, at Knollwood, Wednesday.
Mrs. Harry Helper. of Hamilton Ave., has left for New York to
attend the Jonas-Kopelman wedding at the Hotel Pierre.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert E. Jacobs. of Kentucky Ave., recently
honored their daughter Nancy's birthday with a sweet sixteen
dinner for 15 couples. Guests were Mimi Albert and Jerry Cooper,

LOKSHEN KUGEL
(Noodle Pudding to you!)

8 ounces broad noodles

MISS SALLY TEPMAN

2 quarts boiling water
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
3 tablespoons sugar
I tablespoon lemon juice and or
ta teaspoon cinnamon
4, teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons schmaltz or vegetable
shortening
cup chopped seeded raisins
'4 cup chopped or slithered almonds
3 tablespoons dry bri-;ad or cracker
crumbs
Drop noodles into rapidly boiling
water. add salt and cook approximately
10 minutes or till tender. Drain well
then let but water run through the
cooked noodles ,n a colander to keep
noodles warm. Beat eggs with sugar.
add lemon juice. salt. schmaltz. raisins
and almonds and turn into a greased
pudding dish or square baking dish.
Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired and
top with the crumbs. Bake 45 minutes
at 400 deg. F. or till nicely browned at
bottom and sides are crisp and brown
Serves 6.

tender. Drain then rinse with hot water,
draining thoroughly. Beat eggs slightly
in a mixing bowl and stir in the soup
or broth. Add the drained noodles
which are still warm. Grease the ring
mold with melted fat and sprinkle with
half the ,tutu's. reserving the remainder
for sprinkling over the top. Place the
ringmoid in a larger pan of water. per-
mitting the water to come within an
inch of the top of filling in mold. Flake
30 to 35 minutes or till lightly browned
