'About Mumfordites

Another step forward in Mum-
ford's recognition as a full-
fledged school was made by the
formation of the Russ Mc-
Claughlin Quill and Scroll chap-
ter for eligible journalists on the
Mercury and Annual staffs. The
charter members of the chapter
are Rena Feigolman who won a
copy editor's key; Barbara Lu-
cher, copy key; Sheila Wein-
baum. editor's key: Judy Jacobs,
reporter's key; Pat O'C.onnel,
editor's key; Eleanor Shur. copy
key; Eugene Salesin, editor in
chief key; Bob Matthews, asso-
ciate editor key; Barry Shulberg,
news editor key: and Mary Pop-
kin, editor in chief key. The in-
itiation ceremony took place at
a luncheon in school.
Mumford's senior class will
take a trip to Washington, D.C.
The trip will last four days and
is sponsored by the parent's
club.
