Mrs. Jack Freeman, of Chicago Blvd., has returned from a
trip to Washington, D. C.. where she was joined by her son, U
Howard Freeman, of Fort Lee, Va.
Cecy Schnner has returned from Ann Arbor to spend the sum-
mer with her parents, the Abe Schmiers of Sherborne Road.
Mrs. Ethel Zellman, who has made her home in Jerusalem
for the past 20 years. arrived in the United States June 6 and is
now visiting her children. She is staying with her daughter and
son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Beryl Harrison, 19203 Monica.
Walter Winshall, eight-year-old son of Dr. and Mrs. Ted
Winshall, Pennington Drive, performed in a recital of piano stu-
dents of Frank Murch June 6 in the Detroit Conservatory Hall.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Holtzman will sail next week from New
York for a tour of Europe and a visit in Israel.
Rabbi M. J. Wohlgelernter addressed the Men's Club of Con-
gregation Bnai Jacob. Toledo, June 10 on "Jewish Education."
The meeting was one in a series held to establish a day school
sponsored by the National Torah Umesorah organization.
Mr. and Mrs. Saul Saulson, of the Wilshire Hotel, have re-
turned from a trip to Bermuda.
Heading the delegation of Detroit Zionists to the national
ZOA convention in New York are Rabbi Leo Fram, Sol B. Edelman,
Micki Lancet and Dr. Bernard Weston. Other Detroiters who will
represent the Michigan Zionist Region are Leon Kay and Ben M.
Lewis.
Marguerite Kozenn Chajes will present Toby Foreman, Wvn
Garden, Leah Koven. Gloria Plotnick. Cecil V. Reeves and Gussie
Rimar in a recital at 3:45 p.m., Sunday. at the Woodward Jewish
Center.
Calvin - .Dennis Sirkin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Sirkin was
graduated from Shenandoah High School, Miami Beach. Fla., and
will enter Coral Gables High School in the Fall. The Sirkins have
resided in Florida since moving from Detroit in 1947.
Geraldine Baskin was graduated from the Wayne University
college of education on June 12.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Grossman and children, Evelyn and
Gordon, are now residing in their new home at 8246_ Huntington
Road, Huntington Wbods.
Dr. and Mrs. Joseph R. Eder and daughters, Beverly and Mar-
cia. have returned from an extended trip to Miami Beach, Fla.
Rabbi Herschel Lymon, director of the Hillel Foundation at
the University of Michigan. gave the invocation at the U. of M.
commencement last Saturday. Parents visiting the campus for
the commencement were taken for a tour of the Hillel

caught to her head by a cap of
tulle and satin. She carried or-
chids and stephanotis.
Barbara Weinberg was the
bride's maid of honor, and Dr.
William Edelson served as best
man. Following a reception at
home, the couple left for a
honeymoon at Boston. Cape Cod

gust at Cyprus Beach, between
Port Huron and Lexington, un-
der the auspices of the Council
of Mothers Clubs. Registration
will take place Monday through
Thursday, 7 to 10 p.m., at the
Davison Center.
The camp will offer strictly
