Israeli Delegates Deny
Germans Offer to Confer

LONDON, (JTA)—Circles close
to the Israeli and Jewish Con-
ference negotiating teams on
reparations claims denied re-
ports that the talks with West
Germany at The Hague would
be resumed Thursday.
These circles said that pend-
ing receipt and study of an of-
ficial offer from the Bonn gov-
ernment no date for resumption
of the talks could be set. Point-
ing out that this procedure did
not rule out June 19 per se, these
sources said that if the talks
did open again on that date it
would be coincidental.
It was pointed out that nei-
ther the Israeli nor Jewish Con-
ference delegation would go t.
The Hague to receive an offer
from the Germans. The offer
had to be made before resump-
tion of the talks, they said,
stressing that there was no in-
tention of going to The Hague
"to haggle over the terms of the
proposed German offer."
(The New York Times reported
from Tel Aviv that Dr. F. E.
Shinnar, co-chairman of the Is-
raeli delegation to the confer-
ence on German reparations at
The Hague said he expected to
receive "next week" from the
Germans a "binding commit-
ment." the time in which and
the method by which West Ger-
many will pay.)

Link With Foreign Debts
BONN, Germany, i JTA .--The
German Government will not
revise the offer it made to its
foreign creditors at the London
conference on Germany's ex-
ternal debts. Hermann Abs.
head of the German delegation
to the conference. said here. He
said the German Government
was prepared to make some
concessions in the methods of
payment but that on no account
would the total amount of the
German offer be exceeded. He
expressed confidence that an
agreement on the basis of the
latest German offer was pos-
sible.
The German finance expert
