Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion, speaking
at a dinner in Jerusalem celebrating the first
anniversary of the $500,000,000 state of Israel
bond drive, expressed gratification at the pro-
gres. which the bond drive is achieving in Amer-
ica, and the economic growth which it is making
possible in Israel. Speakers at the celebration
at the King David Hotel, which was attended by
more than 100 prominent American visitors to
