Detroiters Are Active For Boar Ilan University The official approval of the Israeli government has been obtained for the granting of 120 dunam of land by the Jewish National Fund in Ramat Gan for the site of the Bar Ilan University. Architects have now been commissioned by the Miz- rachi Organization of America to prepare t h e preliminary drawings for the first buildings to be erected. A committee headed by Prof. Yekusiel Ginsberg is preparing the curriculum. Ground will be broken for the first wing of the university within the next two months. The local committee of Friends of the Bar Ilan University is headed by Abe Nusbaum as chairman, Louis Kukes, honor- ary chairman, Max Stollman. treasurer.
