Members of the Mumford Mer-
cury and the yearbook staffs
made a field trip to Ann Arbor
to attend the MIPA press con-
ference last Friday. Besides at-
tending lectures on the differ-
ent aspects of journalism, the
travelers visited the campus.
Making the trip were Bernard
Brodsky, Gail Cousins, Rena

Mitchell Glassman, Henry Gor-

9th Season on May 29

Greenbush Inn will open its
ninth season in its beautifully
refurbished hotel, located at

As a tribute to the memory of
the late Bernard Silverstein, the
Parents' Association of Central
High will present to the school
two three-speed phonographs
with four pairs of earphones
each and a collection of classi-
cal records. The presentation
will conclude a three-day ex-
hibition of the arts.
The ceremonies will open
Monday with an art and literary
exhibit. Vocal and instrumental
auditions for scholarships by
