Detroit on. June 6

Detroiters will greet one of Is-
rael's most prominent figures,
Menahem Begin, at a public
rally June 8, at Central High
School.
The former head of the Irgun
Zvai Leumi who fought against
the British and Arabs prior to
Israel's hard-won independence
will arrive here Friday. June 6

leaders and the press.
He will attend sabbath serv-
ices, and on Saturday night will
speak at a parlor meeting at-
tended by sympathizers with the
Herut Revisionist Party in Is-
rael. Begin is leader of this
party, which in the Israeli Par-
liament is the chief opposition
to the government.
At Sunday's meeting loud-
speakers will be set up on the
school grounds so that the ex-
pected overflow crowd may hear
his talk from the school audi-
torium.
A banquet and reception Sun-
day evening will conclude his
visit. A city-wide committee is
being organized to prepare a
reception for Begin.

Private Investments
I rged by Tel Avivian
Visiting in Detroit

Yehuda Cegla of Tel Aviv,
prominent Israeli manufacturer
and exporter, who was the guest
of his relatives here this week,
expressed the view that the
slowness with which investors
have been coming into Israel is
responsible in the main for the
economic crisis in his country.
Mr. Cegla said that the gov-
ernment should be more liberal
in urging private investors to
come to Israel from abroad.
Manager of the Olivex Oil Co.,
Mr. Cegla also is an importer
of feed and fertilizer. He is in
this country to purchase ma-
chinery for the expansion of his
plant. He visited here with his
uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs.
Julius Seligson, and his cousins,
Dr. and Mrs. Louis Kazdan and
Dr. and Mr& Albert Schwartz.
