Synagogues to Commemorate
Historic Holiday of Passover

Passover — the ancient Jewish
festival marking the struggle of
the Jews to throw off the . bond-
, age of the Egyptians—will be
observed beginning Wednesday
evening and continuing through
Thursday and Friday, April 10
and 11. The concluding days will
be celebrated on April 16 and'17.
Following is a schedule of
services and holiday programs
being planned in our synagogues
for the first days'of Passover:
Cong. Beth Aaron

Evening services on all three
days will be held at 6:15 p.m..
with morning services Thursday.
Friday and Saturday at 8:45
a.m. Rabbi Benjamin H. Gorre-
lick will preach at 10:30 a.m..
each day on "Freedom Amid
Slavery," The State of Israel
and the People of Israel" and
The Dead Bones Live Again,"
respectively. Max Kaminsky will
chant the service.

Junior Congregation will hold

Monday, at which Mrs. Moses
Lehrman will lead in seder sing-
ing. Rabbi Lehrman will con-
duct the seder, which will be
prepared by the Sisterhood.
