members had their "Suppressed
Desire" party at Joel Silver's
home. Saturday night they will
be guests of Temple Israel at a
splash party at the Jewish Cen-
ter.
If it snows on Feb. 16, the In-
ter-Congregational Council will
have a sleigh ride. Those at-
tending will meet at 7:15 p.m.
at Hampton School and will
proceed to Morty's Stables.

news paper, and "Centralite",
school yearbook, have new edi-
tors and staffs for the spring
term. 'Lois Ash, the "Student's
•editor-in-chief, will be assisted
by sub-editors Ruth Boraks,

Sitzman, features; Ruth Ros-
ender, news-features; and Bill
Siegle, sports.
Sondra Gales,
editor-in-chief of the "Central-
ite", will be aided by staff edi-
tors Thelma Landau, activities;
Dorothy Glasier, graduation;
and Bev Falk, sports.
Central's basketball team con-
tinued in first place by tying
Northwestern, 41-41, and beat-
ing C h a d s e y, 53-39. Against
Northwestern, Ralph Goldstein
scored 10 points and Marty
Mech and Ed McKinney, eight
points each. Against Chad,sey,
Ralph repeated his high scoring,
earning 23 points with 10 bas-
kets and three free throws,

Insurance Agents in '51

The Great-West Life Assur-
ance Company announces the
final status for production of
new insurance business for 1951.
Harold S. Norman of 746 Col-
lingwood, Detroit, led all Detroit
and M i c h, i gan representatives
for paid business established in
'1951 for the fourth consecutive
year. .
Norman again was a com-
pany leader and-rariked with the
top 10 leaders of the entire corn-.
pany. He again 'gained the hon-
or of • being regional vice=presi 2-
dent for the entire U. S. Eastern
section. There are over - 1,000
agents in the U; S. and :Canada.
Norman maintains offices .at
1224 Guardian Bldg. H.e entered
the insurance business in .1936:
He served with the Army Air
Force from October, 1940, until
his release from active duty in
1946. He had two-tours of over-
seas duty and received several
decorations. He re-entered the
insurance business in 1946 and
has been an outstanding pro-
duction leader for the past six
years.



Herut Ends Parliament
Boycott at Beigin's Request

TEL AVIV, (JTA)—The central'
council of the Herut party has
decided to end the boycott of
Parliamentary sessions instituted
by its deputies in solidarity with
Menahem Beigin, party leader,
who was suspended from the
Knesset for three months for
his role in the anti-government
demonstrations of Jan. 7. The
decision to end the boycott was,
said to have 1- ^-_-n taken at Mr.
Beigin's request.

Pfc. Sanford Korby Wounded in Korea

Pfc. Sanford J. Korby, 22, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Korby,
of 37109 Richton, was reported
wounded in action in Korea. Pfc.
Korby is recovering in-an Army
hospital at Osaka, Japan.
A telegram from the Defense
Department informed the Kor-
bys 'that their son was hit by
mortar fragments while his out-
fit, the 45th Infantry Division,
was fighting 'near Yanchon.
Pfc. Korby was wounded on
Jan. 10, exactly a year after his
