ries of the Jewish War Veterans
to the Detroit Service Organi-
zation, Detroit affiliate of the
USO.
Along with the distribution of
refreshments, games and me-
chanical pencils to servicemen,
31 women from various auxilia-
ries have contributed 227 man-
hours since last August.
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Hoff-
man are co-chairmen of the
Michigan JWV Department pro-
ject.
The DSO serves men and
women in the armed forces who

have been inducted and are
leaving the city for various bases
throughout the country.
