Dr. Marvin Last, Judge Charles Rubiner, Sam Simmer and
Benjamin Weiss, prominent Jewish leaders in Detroit, were among
300 delegates who discussed the role of religion in today's moral
crisis last weekend in Chicago.
Recently visiting Oakton Manor resort in Pewaukee,
were the William Barris', the W. Blufords and the Edward Schlus-
sels.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Mathias and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Bernie, of
Chicago Blvd., left on a cruise of Havana, Panama Canal Zone and
South America.
The Shore Palace Apartment Hotel in Miami Beach, Fla., have
registered as guests for the winter season Sam Epstein, Mr. and
Mrs. Cliff P. Weill and Mrs. Ruth Finn.
Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Sosnick, of Broadstreet Blvd., have re-
turned from a three-week stay in Miami Beach, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Gruskin, of Tuxedo Ave., recently returned
from a visit of three-weeks in Miami Beach, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. Moe R. Miller, of Littlefield Ave., gave a fare-
well party for Mr. and Mrs. Julius Green who have left for a two-
month vacation in Florida. Attending were close friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Belkin of Oakman Boulevard left for Miami
Beach. They will return the latter part of March.
Mr. and Mrs. Abe Lapides, of Pontiac, have left Tucson where
they remained for several weeks, and are now visiting in. Miami
Beach, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Gold, of Princeton Ave., have returned
from a vacation to New York, Boston and Dover, N.H. While in
New York, they were joined by Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Friedman, of
Pembroke Ave.
Miss Hilda Samuels, of Stratford Rd., and Miss Sophie Shul-
man, of Chicago Blvd., have returned from an extended vacation
in Miami Beach, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. Leon Schembeck of Monte Vista Ave. are visiting
members of their family in Tulsa, Okla., for the month of Feb-
ruary.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marwil of Prairie Ave. are spending some
time in Florida.

expected back this week from a Florida yvacation.
Dr. and Mrs. David B. Gaberman of Santa Barbara Drive left
