They were called by the steering com- mittee of the Foster Home Re- cruitment Project, initiated by the Jewish Social Service Bu- reau for a six-month period. The program of the meeting included a review of the foster home placement program by Harold Silver, agency director. Mesdames John Farkus, Joseph Pleasant and Alex Goldberg, of- ficers of the Foster Mothers Group, were introduced. Plans were set up by the con- tact committee of the project to reach all organizations in the community for time at Febru- ary and March. meetings to pre- sent the ,foster home needs. Ori- entation meetings have been planned for Feb. 4 and 5 to pre- pare committee members for their group contacts.
