Four Service Group Presidents Are
Honored at Butzel Building Dedication

For their "creative and de-
voted service as presidents of
the Detroit Service Group," four
people were honored at the Ser-
vice droup's biennial meeting
T u_e s d a y, held in connection
with the dedication of the Fred
M. Butzel Memorial Buildirig, at
which Milton K. Mahler was
elected 1952 president. 7,
The four are Mrs. Joseph H.
Ehrlich, Gus D. Newman, Irving
W. Blumberg and Harvey H.
Goldman.
Mrs. Ehrlich, the only woman
ever to hold the post of Ser-
vice Group president, led Allied
Jewish Campaign workers from.

a board member of the Jewish
Hospital -Association.
Goldman, outgoing president,
has served since 1949, giving
year-round leadership through
some of the largest campaigns
in Detroit's history. He will be-
come chairman of the board,
in addition to serving on the
boards of Federation. Jewish Vo-
cational Service . and Jewish
Community Center.
