has appeared at the Band Box
in Los Angeles and other lead-

country. This is his first engage-
ment in Detroit since his return
from an extended appearance at
Chicago's Chez Paree where he
scored a triumphant success.

Bnai Brith Women

Mrs. Morris Tack, president of
the Greater Detroit Bnai Brith
Women's Council, and Mrs.
Lewis Manning, chairman of the ,
Committee on Jewish and
American Affairs for the Coun-
cil, announce that Albert Elazar,
associate superintendent of the
United Hebrew Schools, will
speak to the organization on
Wednesday, at 1:30 p.m., in the
Davison Jewish Center.
Elazar will talk on "Israel and
America," - as the second in a
series of six program arranged
by the culture commission of
the Jewish Community Council
for Bnai Brith Women.
A dessert luncheon will be
served by Mrs. Manuel Dorfman,
Louis Marshall Chapter; Mrs.
Aubrey Shaper o, East Side
Chapter; and Mrs. Joseph Tul-
censky, Philip Handler Chapter.
