Annual Reunion Sunday

A large number of campers
and their families will partici-
pate in a program of entertain-
ment and singing at the annual
winter reunion party of North
Star Camp, to be held Sunday
afternoon, at Temple Israel.
Details of a revolutionary idea
in camping to be initiated next
season at North Star will be re-
vealed. A special feature of the
afternoon will be the showing
of a photographic display taken
last season.
A Tweener Division is planned
for next summer to meet the
needs and interests of campers
between 2 and 16. TheSe young
people will select, organize and
enjoy their own activities.

Friends of the Bar Ilan Uni-
versity. Abe Nusbaum has been
elected chairman of this corn-,
mittee.
An intensive effort will be
made to acquaint the Jewish
Community with the importance
of this university, to be founded
in Ramat Gan, a suburb of Tel
Aviv, in Israel. The university
will be erected on 120 dunams
of land (30 acres) granted by
the Keren Kayemeth Lelsrael
(Jewish National Fund).
The academic program of Bar
Ilan University will follow the
curricula of the higher institu-
tions of learning in America.
During his recent visit in
rael, Mr. Nusbaum participated
in a delegation led by Mizrachi
President Dr, Pinkhos Churgin,
which met with Israel Premier
Ben-Gurion a n d presented the
University plans to him.
