a fortnight in Battle Creek.
Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Gordon and daughter, Barbara, of
Leslie Ave., are making a flying trip to Poughkeepsie, N. Y. to be
guests of honor at a. reception hosted by the family of Barbara's
fiance.
Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Lastar of Sturtevant were hosts at a
dinner party in honor of grandson gobby's fifth birthday. Bobby
is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Finn of Cheyenne Ave.
Mrs. Louis Eston of Webb Ave. is leaving for Sharon, Pa., to
be the house guest of her daughter Joan, and son-in-law, Milton.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kamens have returned to Pittsburgh, Pa.,
after a visit here with friends, and with daughter Ralle hi Ann
Arbor.
Dr. and Mrs. M. 0. Cantor of Broadstreet Blvd., who were in
San Francisco for a medical convention, stopped off in Los An-
geles and in Mexico City, before flying home.
Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Moss are expected back in their Byron
Ave. abode after a month's stay in Los Angeles..
Mrs. Sarah Sumner of Windsor is hostess to her sister, Mrs.
Myron Bales of Carnegie, Pa. this week. •

onto after a visit with members of their family here and in Wind-

Avren Foreman, Joan Machin and Phyllis Pullberg will be
presented at a piano recital on Sunday, it was announced by Julius
Chajes, music director of the Jewish Center. Admission by invita-
tion only.
Mr. and Mrs. Ira Brawer, of 18237 Snowden, had as a week-
end visitor the latter's sister, Mrs. Merryl Gelber, of Los Angeles,
Calif., who stopped off on her return from Europe.
- Sheldon Iden, son of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Iden of Wisconsin
Ave., was installed as master counselor of Mosaic Chapter, Order
of DeMolay, Nov. 17 at Masonic Temple. Vern Primack and Tom
Banks were installed as senior and junior counselors.
Mr. and Mrs. B. C. Sandler, of Lee Plaza Hotel, are vacationing
in Miami Beach, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. J. Goldenstein, of Parkview Dr., will vacation in

Lenore Goodman, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Goodman,

Joseph Miller and the late Mr.
Miller, was solemnized in the
bride's home on Fairfield Ave.
Rabbi Leon Fram performed the
double ring ceremony.
The' bride wore a traditional
gown of candlelight satin with
a decollete fitted bodice . edged
with seed pearls and a pearl mo-
tif edging the long, tight sleeves.
The skirt was bouffant and
formed a slight train. Her fin-
gertip veil of illusion fell from a
Juliet cap of matching seed
pearls. She cairied calla lillies
on a 'white Bible.
Mrs. Leonard Soltar, as ma-
tron of honor, was her sister's
only attendant. Michael Stacey
was best man. After the wed-
ding reception, Mr. and Mrs.
Miller left for Bermuda.
