phony Orchestra.
In 1946, upon her graduation
from Central High School, she
was awarded a scholarship to
the Curtis Institute of Music in
Philadelphia, where she studied
for five years with Mieczyslaw
Horszowski. Last spring she was
graduated from Curtis Institute
with the degree of Bachelor of
