event has been arranged for
contributors and their husbands.
Featuring the program will

be Beth Hunter, noted singer
of Israeli, Yiddish and tradi= -
tional songs. Miss Hunter has
appeared in a movie and on the
stage. Daughter of a cantor,
she has mastered the tradi-
tional 'hymns.

day she was a ragged skeleton
from a DP camp. Today her
sturdy arms guide the horse-
cart around Ayanot, one of
Israel's leading youth train-
ing farms, maintained by Pi-
oneer Women, the Women's
Labor Zionist Organization of
America, and its sister organ-
ization in Israel, the Moatzat
Hapoalot (Council of Working
Women). At Ayanot, young
immigrants and sabras alike
learn to develop the vast un-
cultivated areas of Israel. Pu-
pils at Pioneer Women's farm
schools receive a well-rounded
high school education as well
as specialized training in ag-
riculture.

Beth El Sisterhood
Plans Lecture Series

The Sisterhood of Temple Beth
El announces a series of Audio-
Visual. Lectures on inter-family
relations for four consecutive
weeks, beginning Tuesday from
10:30 a.m. to 12 noon, in the
Brown Memorial Chapel.
Under the theme "A Guide to
Good Living" the film "The An-
gry Boy," produced by the Men-
tal Health
with Board, will be
shown, with Dr. George Barshal
assistant professor of education-
al and clinical psychology at
Wayne University, as commen-
tator.
On N o v. 20, Mrs. Elizabeth
Armstrong, assistant director at
Children's Center, will be t h e
commentator on "Human
Growth," produced by the Uni-
versity of Oregon. The film "The

Challenge," produced by March
of Time, will be presented Nov.

27 with Dr. Louis L. Friedland,
associate professor of govern-
ment and public administration
at Wayne as commentator.
Dr. Harris Sadler, • assistant
professor of psychiatry at Wayne
will be the commentator on Dec.
4 when the film "Steps of Age"
produced by the Mental Health
Board, will be shown.
