Basil, a student at Cass High School, has shown promise with crayons and brushes since child- hood. His futuristic and other works have been commended by critics. He now has one of his works on exhibit at the Mich- igan Artists show and another is on display among works of the Saturday classes at the Art Institute. The major of Basil's works now on display is "The Boy," listed as Number 30 in the Art Institute exhibit.
