Over 100 women attended a benefit tea given for Eugene
Eisner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Eisner, of Prairie Ave., on the
occasion of his ninth birthday. Proceeds from the tea were do-
nated to the Sisterhood of Cong.. Bnai Israel in Pontiac and the
Pioneer Women of Detroit. Miss Etta Ross, niece of Mrs. Eisner,
and Mrs. Rose Tenner poured at the tea table, which was centered
with a huge birthday cake.
MisS Belle. Moskowitz, of Sturtevant Ave., represented the
Michigan Society .of Hospital Pharmacists at the two day obser-
vance •of the 75th anniversary of the University of Michigan Col-
lege of Pharmacy, Oct. 24 and 25. Dr. Leonard Scheele,Surgeon
General of the United 'States Public Health Service, was a speaker:

haVe returned from a motor trip to New York, where they visited
their sister, Mrs. Jack Blum and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Berlin, son, Sanford, and daughter,
Judith have moved back to Detroit after living in Tucson, Ariz.,
for the pa't four years. They are residing on Indiana Ave., and
will open a new infant's and children's apparel and linen and
Oh shop about Nov. 15, on Dexter near Waverly. •
Attending Iota Alpha Pi sorority's recent dinner dance at the
Ehnwood Casino were Chickie Siegel with Mary Wekstein, Audrey
Soskin with Moshe Heyman, Gloria Lewin and Harold Friestone,

Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Fishman, of Outer Dr., are celebrating
their 25th wedding anniversary with a trip to Washington, D.C.,
Philadelphia, New York and Toronto where they will be joined
by their -daughter, Dena, to attend the Bar Mitzvah of David
Goldstein.
Mr. and Mrs. M. Ginsburg, of Traverse City, Mich., spent the
weekend with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Milt Ginsburg, of Ann
Arbor. While there, they attended the Michigan-Minnesota foot-
'ball game.
• Mr. and Mrs. Morris Jacobs of Glynn Ct. are expected back
this week after a visit with, the latter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.
Feldstein of Birmingham, Ala.
Dr. and Mrs. David Fauman of Boston 'Blvd. are in Toronto
for a visit with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
Gurston Allen.
Mr. and Mrs. Irving R. Schiff of Kentucky Ave. are hosts this
week-end to Mr. and Mrs. Harry Polasky and Mr. and Mrs. Frank.
Polasky of Saginaw on the occasion of their son's, Michael Joe's,
bar mitzvah. In honor of his 13th birthday, Michael Joel will\ be
host to forty friends, on a mystery bus ride, Saturday evening.
Mr.. and Mrs. Jack Smith of Chicago were guests at the Shera-
ton Hotel the past week in order to visit with members of their
