cal of the Jewish Vets in our
community to dedicate as solemn
an occasion as Armistice Day to

typical, too, of that grand lady
of the theatrical world, Sophie
Tucker, to lend her. presence to
the promotion of this cause .. .
She will be appearing at the
Elmwood Casino in Windsor at
the time • . . and if we know
Sophie, she'll want to be in on
every pint of blood that is col-
lected during the rally • . .
especially since it is being given
by a Jewish organization . .
There's no business like show
business . . . and no person in
it like dear Sophie Tucker . . .
Our column salutes a great lady
and a grand JWV organization.
