WOLFE-PHILUPS.. At an af-
ternoon ceremony Oct. 7, at the
Book Cadillac, Diane Joyce Phil-
ups, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
L. Samuel Philups, of Suffolk
Dr., was united in marriage to
Dr. J. Aaron Wolfe, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Jack Wolfe, of New
York City. Dr. Israel Rosen-
bloom, of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil,
officiated. The bride wore an
original gown of blush pink
French silk and lace. She wore
a fingertip veil of matching
lace, which. was held in place by
a tiara of pink pearls. She car-
ried a white Bible with white
and black orchids. Mrs. Sadie
Lowenstein, of New York. the
bride's aunt, was matron of hon-
or, and Gail Phyllis Wolfe, sister
of the bridegroom, was maid of
honor. Bridesmaids were Gloria
Feinberg, Josephine Bloom,
Adele Silvers, Bertha Levine,
Frances Gold, Marlene Jacobson.
Louis Sakton, of Cleveland, 0.,
was best man, and ushers in-
cluded Morton Philups. brother
of the bride, John Stein, Sey-
mour Jacobson, Lewis Fried,
Leonard Engel and Alex Gold.
Rosalyn Wright and Dorothy
Meyers were flower girls, and
ring bearer was the bride's cous-
in, Allan Philups. The grand-
parents of both bride and bride-
groom and the bride's great
grandmother were also in the
procession. Train bearers were
Marlene and • Stewart Wolfe,
cousins of the bridegroom. Fol-
lowing a two-month honeymoon
in Hawaii, the young couple will
reside at the Detroit Towers un-
til their home on Lake -Shore Dr.
in Grosse Pointe is completed.
Out-of-town guests were from
New York, Cleveland, Lansing,
Chicago, Miami, Philadelphia,
New Orleansa Mobile, Ala., Los
Angeles, Ph o e n i x, Montreal,
Winnipeg, Can., Rio De Janeiro
