General Hospital on Wednesday
where the Rabbi conducted Suk-
koth services. The women dis-
tributed holiday packages to pa-

A 27-year-old Israeli„ current-
ly studying accounting in
Wayne University's school of
business administration, was
selected by Mu Beta Xi profes-
sional business fraternity at the
university, as the second recipi-
ent of its semester scholarship.
Announcement of the selec-
tion of Yeshayahu Lipszyc, who
is in this country on a student
visa, was made by a committee
of active and alumni members
of Mu Beta Xi, who said the
award was based on leadership,
scholarship and need.
The scholarship was available
to all members of W a y n e's
school of business administra-
tion.
Lipszyc, who lives at 2928
Richton, is a graduate of Com-
mercial High School in Tel Aviv.
He fought with Haganah dur-
ing the Israel War for Indepen-
dence.
A junior, Lipszyc, maintains
a B plus average in his classes,
despite the fact that he took
25 credit hours last semester
and is taking 18 this term. A
full program is considered to be
15 hours.
After graduation, Lipsz ye
plans to return to Israel where
he will be able to benefit his
country with the education he
received at Wayne.
At a recent election of the
fraternity, Lawrence P e r n i c k
was elected president. He will
be assisted in the coming year
by David Snyder, vice - presi-
dent; Albert Moehlman, treas-
urer; David Daniel and Martin
Miller, secretaries.
Plans of the fraternity in-
clude participation in the
s c h o o l's homecoming football
parade and annual WintertnaYt,
an installation dinner-d an c e
and a weekly program of pro-
fessional discussions with prom-
inent local leaders.

The Intercollegiate Zionist
Federation of America is plan-

Elsie Wiener and Harry Dines.
Israeli and social dancing fol-
lowed. Louise Freeman, accom-
panied by IZFA's president,
Edna Bernstein, played three
musical selections.
