Toledo Rabbi to Speak
At 2nd Annual Banquet
Of Reform Rabbinate

will be a prin-
cipal speaker at
the banquet of
the second an-
nual convention
of the Great
L akes Council
of the Union of
American H e -
Rabbi Feuer brew Congrega-
tions on Nov. 5, at 7 p.m. at the
Statler Hotel.
The Convention will begin
with an Oneg Shabat Nov. 3,
which will be followed by regis-
tration and a cocktail party and
reception for the delegates of
30 reform congregations from
Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan
and Illinois (outside of Chi-
cago).
On Nov. 4, there will be four
works hops on the theme
"Srengthening the Synagogue."
There will be a luncheon at 1
p.m. followed by a business ses-
sion.
Among those who will partici-
pate in the convention will be
Mr. Herman Mosher of Milwau-
kee, President of the Great
Lakes Council; Rabbi Herman
E. Schaalman, Director of the
Chicago Federation of Reform
Synagogues; Dr. B. Benedict
Glazer and Rabbi Leon Fram.

Shola Levitt Engaged
To New York Youth

and Mrs. Jack Levitt, of Ohio

of their daughter, Shola, to Mar-
tin Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Louis Miller. of New York City.
Miss Levitt attended the Uni-
versity of Michigan, where she
was affiliated with Sigma Delta
Tau sorority. Her fiance is a
graduate of New York University
where he was affiliated with
Alpha Mu Sigma fraternity.
The wedding date has been set
for Dec. 27.

chose a gown of white chantilly
lace over taffeta. Her finger tip
veil was held by a matching laCe
cap, and she carried two white
orchids on a prayer book.
Lenore Gluck was maid of
honor. Bridesmaids were Sharon
Joyce Kass, cousin of the bride,
Ruth Lesniansky, Rita Alper,
and Geraldine Nagler.
Harry Mervis was best man.
The ushers were Norman Licht,
brother of the bridegroom, Shel-
don Freedheim, brother of the
bride, Harold Finegood, and Bob
Burke.
