and tender and dignified as _possible
-but remember these things are not
dependent on price alone. Whatever
budget limitations circumstances dic-
tate, there is no stinting of our per-
sonal services. The- ultimate cost de-
pends on the .service you select

Kenny Institute Admits
First Israeli Polio Case

MINNEAPOLIS - Because a

visitor to Israel from St. Paul
took an interest in a child suf-
fering from an infantile paraly-:
sis condition, the youngster,
five-year-old Asher Novak, is
now undergoing treatment at
the Sister Kenney Institute. He
is the first such patient to enter
the Institute.
Asher arrived in New- York re-
cently by plane and officials of
HIAS, the Hebrew Immigrant
Aid Sbciety, met him at the air-
port, sheltered him, and then
enplaned him for Minneapolis.
The youngster was accom-
panied by his • mother, Mrs.
Tzvei Novak, who is anurse at
the Kibbutz Mercavia settlement
in Israel.
Plans for the trip to America
began when.'Herbert Kristal of
St. Paul heard about the strick-
en child during his visit to Is-
rael last year. On his return to
Minnesota, he discussed the case
with physicians at the Sister
Kenney Institute, and they in
turn corresponded with the boy's
doctors in Israel. The Minnea
polis physicians felt the child
could be helped and the trip to
the United States was arranged.
