Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Isaacs,
now in Israel, are visiting in the
famous settlement of Ramat
Yochanan.
Mr. Isaacs reports that he had
the pleasure of Meeting the fol-
lowing former students of the
United Hebrew Schools in Ramat
Yochanan, Meyer Harrison,
Moshe amir (Soloweitcheik),
Edith Levin, Fred LaMed.
In his message, Mr. Isaacs tells
this story:
"I met a Jew from Cleveland
who came to make his home
here. In Cleveland he had his
store closed on Saturdays, went
to Shul, took his afternoon nap
and enjoyed his traditional day
of rest. Sunday was Sunday—
when his children came to visit
him and they spent the day to-
gether. When he met me, he
said: "You know, Zuntig hot do
nisht kein Yiddishen taam' (Sun-
day does not have a Jewish
flavor here)."
