' Mr. and Mrs. Harold Van Baalen and daughter, of Birming-
ham, Ala., formerly of Detroit, are visiting the latter's parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Fitlow, of Cortland Ave.
Corp. Marvin Lee Ancell has returned to Camp Carson, Colo.,
after spending a 10 day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Lloyd Ancell, of 18704 Wisconsin.
An open house at 3 p.m., Sept. 23 will serve as a farewell
party for Mr. and Mrs. Louis Moser, 2704 Taylor, who are leaving
the city. Mr. Moser will leave for Israel Oct. 11. Mrs. Moser and
their three daughters will follow him to Israel after spending sev-
eral months in Houston, Tex., with the Moser's sons.
Mr. and Mrs. J. Sidney Gluckstein, of N. Hollywood, Calif. have
returned home after visiting for several weeks with Mr. and Mrs.
J. Sidney Gluckstein, Jr. and daughter, Shirley, of N. Oxford Rd.,
Grosse Pointe.
Mrs. Albert Galston of Los Angeles is visiting her mother,
Mrs. M. Blucher, and her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
Morris Amdur, enroute to the Hadassah convention in Atlantic
City. Mrs. Galston is president of the Los Angeles Chapter and
a member of the national board.
Mrs. Arthur Cohen and Mrs. Simeon Freedman have returned
from a Labor Day weekend at Glo Rita Beach, Mich., scene of
the Mother's Club Camp, of the Jewish Community Centtr. Miss
Mary Caplan was in charge of the camp.
Mr. and Mrs. Selig H. Estroff and their son, Tod, of Lakeland,
Fla., visited here for a month with their parents and grandparents,
Mr. and Mrs. Ben Wilk.
Mr. and Mrs. Julius Markus and Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Friedman
have moved from Calvert Ave. to their new home at 20041 Oxley.
Miss Saralee Cohn, of Beverly Hills, Calif., formerly of this
city, is spending a fortnight with , relatives and friends. While
here she is the house guest of her 'uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs.
Louis Goldberg, of Webb Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. Gus Coplan, of Miami Beach, have returned to
their home after visiting here for.several weeks. Their daughter,
who accompanied them, will remain as the guests of her uncle and
aunt, Mr. and Ivfrs. Abe Gittleman, of Washburn Ave. for a month.
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Schwartz, of Monica Ave., have returned
from an extended vacation, spent on the west coast where they
visited with their children, Dr. and Mrs. Marvin Schwartz and
children in Portland, Ore., also with relatives and friends in Los
Angeles, Calif.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Field, their daughter, Harriet, and son,
Irwin, returned last week from a tour of Europe and Israel. They
visited with relatives in England, toured France and Italy and
attended the World Zionist Congress sessions in Jerusalem.

Mr. and Mrs. S. Paul Epstein of Bayonne, N. J., and Mr. and
Mrs. Sam Slutzky of Newburgh, N. Y., were guests here last week-
end to attend the dinner in honor of the 50th wedding anniver-
sary of their uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Keywell, at the
Mayfair, Saturday night. Arthur Robbins, another nephew of the
Keywells, was toastmaster. Addresses were delivered by Mr. Key-
well's brothers, Henry, Sam and Barney; several members of the
family and representatives of the Jewish Social Club and Zviller
Aid Society.
Mrs. Max Ducker has returned to her home on Webb Ave.
following a recent trip to New York.
< Mrs. Abram Moss has returned home after visiting relatives
at Long Island, New York.
Mr. and Mrs. Ira Brawer have moved from their residence on
Hazelwood Ave. to their new home at 19237 Snowden.
Micki Lancet, 3359 Cortland, flew to New York to meet her
mother and sister, Sybil Betty, arriving in this country for a
three month visit from Glasgow Scotland. After a short stay in
Salem, Mass, with another daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and
Mrs. Alex Shore, formerly of Detroit and Saginaw, they will visit
New York, and Baltimore before coming to Detroit.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis M. Elliman, formerly of the Briggs Hotel,
are now residing at the Belcrest Hotel, 5440 Cass.
Miss Lorrayne Reznick, of LaSalle Blvd., has left for a stay
in California, and upon her return will begin studies at Michigan
State College.
