Miss Shirlee Brinauer aid Miss Rosalie Gorback have returned
from a two weeks vacation in Miami Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Geyman Silverman (Janice Fisher) and daugh-
ter, Cathy, of St. Louis, Mo., visited with her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Harry Fisher of 14220 Vassar Dr. during the month of Au-
gust.
Mr. and Mrs. Jules Allen entertained 16 guests at a dinner
party. honoring Mayor and Mrs. Albert E. Cobo and Mr. and Mrs.
Blake Gillis, warden of the Detroit House of Correction, at their
summer home in Charlevoix.
Mr. and Mrs. Norman Dickler and daughter, Freda, formerly
of Cortland Ave., are now residing at their new home, 18411 Ilene,
Miss Dickler recently returned from two weeks in Charlevoix.
Elliott C. Schubiner, of Elliott Travel Service, has just returned
from a week's vacation at the Caribe Hilton Hotel in San Juan,
Puerto Rico and a short stay in St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands.
Mrs. David Berger and daughter, . Dale, of Chicago Blvd.,
returned from Minneapolis, Minn. where Miss Berger was an
attendant at the wedding of Miss Donna Grossman, a former
classmate at the University of Wisconsin.
• Prior to their departure for Israel aboard the LaGuardia next
Tuesday, 1N/12. and Mrs. Louis Lebster were honored by two Flint
organizations. Mrs. Lebster was feted at a tea given by the board
of Hadassah on Thursday and Mr. Lebster was honored at a din-
ner of the Zionist Organization on Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. J. Jerome Blum and daughter, Toba Fredrica,
have moved from the Hightar d Towers to their new home at 2995
Oakman Ct.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rotn, of 3216 Tyler, were on Sept. 3 ten-
dered a dinner party on their 18th anniversary by their children,
Allan and Sandra.
Miss Dale Berger, of Chicago Blvd., has recently returned from
an extended trip to Europe where she visited in France, Italy, Bel-
gium, Switzerland, Holland and England.
Mrs. Benjamin Imber and son, Burton, and Mrs. Nathan
Simons and sons, Broudy and Edgar : have left for a stay in Wil-
liamsburg and Virginia Beach, Va.

Rabbi Joshua S. Sperka has returned from a visit in Israel

Determination is the key word
of the honor roll events, as this
year the Detroit Chapter's quota
will be substantially increased
over last year's previous high of
$150,000. The dinner Sept. 26
starring Molly Picon and "In-
crease Party" fashion show, Oct.
3 round out the honor roll
events.
Mrs. Morse Saulson, president,
has appointed Mrs. Joseph tack-
ier and Mrs. Mervin Grosberg,
chairmen of the all-over fund-
raising program. They are as-
sisted by Mrs. Charles Gershen-
son, program; and Mrs. M. L.

Morris Morton to Steer
Pharmaceutical Fraternity

Morris Morton has been elect-
ed national president of Alpha
Zeta Omega, national pharma-
ceutical fraternity, the first De-
troiter given this post. The fra-
ternity is composed of 23 chap-
ters, mostly in the East and Mid-
west.
Morton is a graduate of
Wayne University, but is affili-
ated with the Detroit Institute
of Technology Omicron Chapter.
He attended DIT before switch-
ing to Wayne. He is affiliated
with the Russell Drug Co.
