For High Holy Day Reservations
Preparations for the forthcom-
ing. high Holy Days are being
undertaken and tickets and
seating being arranged for at
the following synagogues:
Cong. Beth Abraham—Cantor
Eugene Greenfield has been en-
gaged again to chant Rosh Ha-
shanah, Yom Kippur and Suk-
kot services at the synagogue,
12517 Linwood. Cantor Kurt
Baum will officiate at auxiliary
services in the social hall. Ticket
sales begin Tuesday and con-
tinue on weekdays from 6 to 9
p.m., Sundays, 2 to 6 p.m. Seats
for members and their families
will be held or reserved only un-
til Sept. 23.

In a beautiful garden setting,
Judith Marya Feinberg, daugh-
ter of the Charles E. Feinbergs

of Boston Blvd., was married to
Robert Handler Pick, son of Mrs.
Anton Pick of Garden City,
Mich., and the late Mr. Pick, on
Sunday afternoon, Sept. 2.
The bride chose for her wed-
ding a gown of deep ivory satin
combined with imported Chan-
tilly lace. It was distinguished
by a high neckline and round
collar embroidered with seed
pearls. Her bouffant skirt had
panels of satin and lace and ex-
tended into a full train. The
finger tip length veil was se-
cured by a satin cloche, and she
carried a bouquet of white baby
orchids and stephanotis.
Maid of honor was the bride's
sister, Suzanne.
The bridesmaids were Judith
Isenberg, Sheila Frenkel and
Lois Daniels.
Norman Rivkees of Du Bois,
Pa., served Bob as best man.
Ushers were Bartley Feinberg,
the bride's brother, Stuart
Winkleman of Port Huron, Mich.,
and Frank Handler, Jr.
The newlyweds left later for
a two week eastern honeymoon.
Upon their return, they will
make their home in Ann Arbor,
where both are students at the
University of Michigan.

TEL AVIV, Israel,' Sept. 3 — The
worst of many food crises that Israel
has faced in the three years since
she became a state has developed in
the last two months. .
Now . that stocks bought in the
United States last spring have been
depleted the - full effects of last win-
ter' s catastrophic drought are being
felt throughout the country. Some
relief is in sight. Aid now being
discussed in the United States Con-
gress and funds from the Israeli
bond drive should become available
soon. Part of this money will have
to be used for immediate food pur-
chases.
Any improvement in the food situa-
tion is likely to be only slight and
it can be only temporary.
