AJC Explodes
Communist Myth

The myth spread by Com-
munists that they hold the only
solution for the problems of mi-
norities, is exploded in the fifth
leaflet published by the Ameri-
can Jewish Committee in its
"This Is Our Home" series.
The leaflet, titled "The Hands
of Esau," asserts that this myth
has hoodwinked members of
"majority" and "ml nor it y"
groups alike. "A great many
people of good will, of sincere
democratic conviction, Christian
and Jew," the leaflet declares,
"have been taken in at some
time by the unceasing propa-
ganda-that the Communists are
sincere fighters for a decent and
humane society."
The record; the leaflet insists,
indicates that the facts are
otherwise. The communists are
dedicated exclusively and per-
manently to the interests of
Soviet rulers. When they think
it useful to keep discontent in
the headlines, they will exag-
gerate, stir up, even create
trouble. between Negroes and
whites, Jews and Christians, 'in
