mitted to the newspaper by a

vertise for a wife. An excerpt
"Young man, working long hours
wants girl with matrimonial in-

school education-fairly attrac-
tive, interest in home economics,
quiet type preferred. Age 18 to
24." A Lansing Post Office Box
was given. The publisher report-
ed the newspaper had • not re-•
ceived any ad of this type be

papers. Without attempting to
poll members as to their policy
on such advertisements, the
MPA Central Office doubts if
matrimonial ads are acceptable
to the average daily or weekly
newspaper, would be subject to
criticism by newspaper subscrib-

repetition of the Grand Rapids
"lonely heart" murder case. The
advertising revenue involved is
incidental; t h e risk of reader
