ter president. Other officers are:

Gloria Goldman, - Clara Marks,

troit as "The City of Freedom,"
starts tonight at the U. of D.
Stadium and will continue for
11 nights, through July 23.
With Ronald Saltarelli of
18418 Meyers Rd. acting the role
of Fred M. Butzel who was
chosen to represent the out-
standing type of American lead-
ership representing the Jewish
community, the show . will in-
clude all aspects in the Ameri-
can community's struggle for
freedom.
The Butzel scene is enacted
during the portion of the pro-
gram depicting the arrival of
displaced persons here. Mr. Sal-
tarelli, who played with the
Goodwin Theater in Chicago
and the American Theater Wing
in City Ballet in New York, has
a short -speech in which, speak-
ing as Butzel, he welcomes ,DPs
to enjoy freedom after

mony at Congregation Bnai
Moshe, Annette M. Shiffman,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ansel
Shiffman of Grand Ave. be-
came the bride of Jerome Furs-
tenberg, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Maurice Furstenberg of Richton
Ave. Rabbi Moses Lehrman of-
ficiated.
The bride wore an ivory satin
gown trimmed with lace. Her
fingertip veil was held in place
with a satin cap. She carried
white orchids, ivy and stephan-
otis on a prayer book.
Rita Shiffman attended her
sister as maid of honor and the
bridesmaids were Mrs. Charles
Koven, the bridegroom's sister,
Lorraine Miron and Rose Wolof-
sky. Geraldine Shiffman was
junior bridesmaid. Charles Kov-
en was his brither-in-law's best
man. Ushers were Jack Shiff-
man, the bride's brother, Shel-
don ROss, Milford Furstenberg,
the bridegroom's brother, a n d
Kenneth Soble.
After honeymooning in Miami
